So many things has changed since Powers changed hands in Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro. Why many say it has been for the better, their still some who believe things are rather too strict right now. Well no matter your opinion, this is the way things are now, The Prof. Job Akpodiete' Administration has vowed to take the academic aspect of the school very seriously. This is quite obvious, I mean its been barely a week since school resumed and lectures has started fully. Yes you heard me correctly lectures have started, so if you are still at home, you are on you own.

The seriousness was taking to new heights yesterday when an oficial memo was released by the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro management. The memo stated categorically that come 27th April(This month), certain students might forfeit their studentship. This is a picture of the Memo;

The Memo is aimed to draw the attention of students to the following;

Lecture and other academic activities for the second semester, commenced since Tuesday, 3rd April, 2018.
Arising from the foregoing all student should ensure to resume and attend lectures promptly and punctually as the rule of 75% lecture attendance before eligibility for writting examination is still in force.
All students should ensure to pay their school fees, complete their course registeration processes and submit their registeration forms to Exams and Records department on or before Friday, 13th April 2018.

Only students who have payed their school fees would be asigned for project supervision.
The 'No payment of School fee; No Examination' rule will be fully enforced during the examinations for the Second Semester of the 2017/2018 session. In this regard, no defaulter will be allowed into the examination halls.

From the look of things the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro Management is not smiling at all. Do ensure you take heed the instructions in the memo, to avoid stories that touch. Are serious are they about the expulsion? well no one knows, but it is better to be on the safer side. If you have not resumed, resume. If you have not payed your fees, pay. If you are yet to complete your course registeration, my dear go and complete it. I have said my piece.
